i got the problem after convertig the hice manager appliance to an hyper-v vm i got the error that eth0 is not present. I think its because of the changing mac of the virtual eth interface so i think the hyper-v interface is now just eth1 .. is it possible to get deeper access to the system of the appliance ? i just got only the please make a choice menue which does not help to correct the eth0 eth1 fault ...

hi Patrick,

Hyper-V is not currently supported in both flavour (NG/Classic)....but...I did some test with the "legacy network adapter" and it works. Pay attention because you still missing the driver for handling the guest OS from the Host OS (disk I/O driver, network driver, memory etc etc)

i know its not official ... what did you mean with legacy adapter ? you know about any "real" root access for the appliance ?

Think of it as being how the virtual adapters are presented to the VM.

The legacy adapter is generally used when the integration tools/drivers for Hyper-V haven't been installed, or the VM is an OS that is not supported by them.

it depends...
HiveManager Classic use TCP 22/80/443 and UDP 12222
HiveManager NG use TCP 80/443 and UDP 12222

okay. these ports are already open. I hoped i only need a port which's not open ... I currently have the Problem that in my dashboard no information about bandwith and so on are visible. it only shows "There is currently no data available for the specified time range or data filter." There is no Filter set and my AP is showed correctly on the monitor tab.... Any Ideas ?
