As read from HiveManager 6.8r2 Release Notes' Features and Enhancements "HiveManager 6.8r2 provides additional status LED configuration flexibility on devices running HiveOS 6.5r4 or later", can I know where to find the settings to change the LED Behavior in HM ? Thanks!

Hello Ho,
would not recommend using that setting, I am looking after one site that after the network admin set the LED setting any AP other than AP330 refused to load the config, returning some XML error.
Cheers Carsten

I am holding off on applying any new settings until we are done with some major projects here, I don't have the time to work through any little glitches at the moment.  Has anyone else experienced an issue loading the new config? I am sure any disruption wouldn't be affecting connectivity but I am curious.

Hi all,

I just wanted to jump in on the thread to say that we know about the XML error with HiveOS 6.6r2 and are currently working through our support processes to resolve this.

Please consider moving to HiveOS 6.5r4 on your APs rather than using HiveOS 6.6r2 to avoid this.

Regards,

Nick

Hope you fix it ASAP! Returning to 6.5r4 still wont work. Three APs out of nine are now not working. AP130 all of them.

The issue is on the HM. We have patched the US servers to fix the issue.  Other servers should be scheduled soon.

Does this issue exist with HMOP? Because I was about to upgrade our HMOP, but have been waiting to hear more on this issue.

It doesn't. I tried changing the LED settings for an AP250 on our HMOP but didn't receive the XML error described above.

Hi. Can someone confirm that upgrading HiveOS to 6.5r4 on AP230 does not break the APs?

Thanks

The issue was on the HM configuration file not on the AP configuration. All servers have been patched now. You should be able to upload the configuration to the AP now.

Does this patch include HM on-premise?
