Guest Wireless - Self Registration and Dedicated AP

Just 2 quick questions:

1.) is a license for ID manager required in order for a SSID to be used with self-registration (request is for client to connect to open SSID, be required to agree to EULA and input in First/Last/email address)?  I think the answer is yes, but wanted to confirm.

2.) if there is also a requirement for the guest traffic to be on a dedicated AP but the coverage area overlaps w/ an area that needs to also serve internal clients what's the best way to accomplish this without the APs interfering w/ each other?

I'm quite certain you can perform a basic self registration guest ssid without ID manager. Gathering information regarding clients will probably be limited.
Your second question is certainly puzzling. Assuming this requirement is for security purposes, is there also a requirement for the guest AP be connected to an independent switch? Anyway, depending on the number of SSIDs used, the APs will negotiate channels in an attempt to limit co-channel interference.

Best,
