I have alot of VHM's, and would like to create a IP-Object in global so that I can use the IP-Object in all VHM's, how can I do that ?

Hi Henry,

I am not sure if that is at all possible, if it would be in any way. You'd have to create it in the top level VHM or the 'home' if you haven't already tried it. I currently don't have a Hivemanager Virtual handy to test this is, but I'll check it out tomorrow when I am at the office.

Best regards,

Stefan

Hi Henry,

I believe Stefan is correct here, in my experience. Creating a global object would mean that any subsequent VHM's within the same system can use the global object.

The way to create a global object would be to log into the HiveManager as a primary administrator (meaning an admin that is not created under a specific VHM) and create the object when under the default "home" VHM. (root level)

Keep in mind that since the object will be truly global, any changes to that object made when inside another VHM would change the object globally and affect all other VHM's using the same object.

Let us know if this helps.

When i create a IP-Object it places it in home, it can be done since there are some rules that has "Global" as VHM
