In HiveManager:
  • Click on the "Dashboard" menu (top of screen)
  • Click on the "Network Summary" tab
  • The "Current Client and Device Status (Network Wide)" widget has the following information - new devices, devices with alarms, devices with outdated configurations, devices connected to HiveManager and devices disconnected from HiveManager.
In HiveManager NG:
  • Click on the "Dashboard" menu (top of screen)
  • Click on the "Summary" tab (normally selected by default)
  • Click on the "Connection Status" area to expand it
  • The number of access points/switches currently connected to HiveManager NG and the total number of access points/switches managed by HiveManager NG will be displayed.  The number of offline access points/switches will, obviously, be the difference.

On caveat to using the Dashboard as Crowdie suggests. If you have other Aerohive devices (switches, routers, vpn gateways), then they will show up in the count. So if you have other devices and just want APs, you need to go to the Monitor->Devices->All Devices->Access Points->Aerohive APs or Configuration->Devices->Aerohive APs and then the total number will be shown in the upper right side of the screen next to the Edit Table button. This is for HiveManager Classic. I'm not sure about NG.
