Forcing User Profile Update

I have a device that was being assigned a specific user profile. I just added another assignment rule for this device, but it is holding onto the old user profile. I.e it use to have our staff mobile device profile assigned and now I have a mac address assignment rule applying it to the Faculty user profile, but I can't get it to update to the new user profile. Is there a way to force this to occur? I deleted the IP in our DHCP server, but that didn't work. Thanks!
