In setting up the firewall for a profile, we are denying a lot of Application services. We are limited to adding 100 at a time and are limited to 63 or so total. Is there any way to add an entire group as one entry instead of taking up 50 on adding indvidiual apps? For example, I would like to deny all soical networking and then allow just the few that I want my students to have. doing this way would use up around 10 entries instead of 30....

the only advice I can offer is don't use a screw driver when you need a hammer.

if you need to crack down that much on social networking and applications you should look to a device or solution that was built with that in mind. Palo Alto Firewall, Fortigate come to mind.

Opendns may also be an option assuming you block all other DNS going out and block proxies as well.
