I recently had the above issue with a number of my APs and it went away after I upgraded my Hive Manager. That was until recently and it is back with a vengeance. Here's what the deal is...

1. It's happening to 4 of my 11 APs.
2. We are using AP 120s.
3. The APs are in different areas of campus.
4. They are connected to different switches.
5. I only get this message when people are on the WiFi network.
6. I am using 5.1r4

I get an error message (email) from Hive Manager about 15 times an hour.

What can/should I do?

Since you have 11 APs and it is only affecting 4, is it safe to assume that all 4 APs are on the same 2.4GHz channel? Check this first... If this is the case, a high level of retrys can be caused by several things:
+external interference on the channel - you can see this by waiting until there are no clients on the network then turing on spectrum analysis
+a bad client consuming too much airtime - you can see this in the airtime reports or through the client health
+the location of the APs on the same channel is such that most of the traffic is ending up on those channels.

Some simple solutions:
+Turn on band steering to get clients off 2.4
+If it is external interference avoid the channel altogether.

Today the AP's which were sending this error message were using the channels 1,6, and 11. I will try the band streering option. I had set this up before, but when my HVM was updated the profile I created was deleted.
