I
configured the enrollment via wifi mobile phones (with AirWatch) and I have the problem that you are unable to download the agent AirWatch at time of enrollment having enabled the option "Enable MDM Enrollment" with an open SSID (on Android only once while you work on iOS you can not access Itunes).
In particular, the Android agent being downloaded from Google Play me comes the error message "unknown error code during installation of the application 919." I also tried to change the device but the problem is always the same. The same wifi network without a license to "Enable MDM Enrollment" allow me to download the agent while such clearance can not carry out any operation on Google Play (also download / update other applications).
AirWatch for this problem he said:
"With regard to the enrollment via wifi, you should contact Aerohive. The configuration of the NAC occurs throughout their side.
The only thing that makes AW side and 'enable API access mode' REST, which, however, was already 'done because the same type of interface and' provided by the mag. '
I would like to know precisely the ip / domains Apple Push Notification Services and C2DM which is discussed in the documentation.

I'm trying the same thing and getting the same 919 error on Google play.

It also cannot load the screenshots on the Google Play page so it looks like something is blocking it.

Is is just that the Google profile in Aerohive is missing some of the Google IP addresses?

I am using on-premise rather than the cloud Hivemanager. Not sure what difference that makes to this feature.

If I install  the app using mobile data and then connect it still takes me to the web page, I click on Already Installed  and it takes me to the Airwatch client, which says my device is compliant, but I never get network access.

It looks like this has been an issue for a while...

Is anyone actually using this in production.

I use the on-premise solution for Aerohive (ver.6.1.3a) that AirWatch (ver.7.1.1) and still have the same problems for which you are unable to download the agent for both iOS and Android...

Marco, Bruce,
I checked with my expert on Airwatch and was advised to have you open tickets with Support. He says that he is sure it's a configuration issue but there wasn't enough details in this thread for his to guess what went awry.

Please update the rest of us once Support has assisted you, so that in the future others can benefit from what you learn.

Marco,
Sorry for not being clear. I meant that you should contact your support provider, either the reseller you purchased from or Aerohive directly, depending on your support contract. We won't be proactively reaching out to you, because you're just an anonymous person on the community forum.

I have heard on the grape vine that a fix for this issue is going to be released in 6.4.r1.

And that this is estimated for release by the end of 2014.

Hello Bruce,

Did you use the workaround by editing the Walled-Garden on the CLI?

Regards,

Harmon

Hi,

no, I have not done that,  does that work?

To be honest my immediate need to have this fixed has gone away so I was just going to wait for the new release and then test it.

Regards

Bruce
