Everytime I tried to download a new firmware I get two downloads, what are the differences?

I ask because on slow links two downloads of the same firmware area little too much.

Erick,
Context, please? How are you downloading the firmware, and from where?

From the netsuite site, almost all of the Firmware download links (HiveOS and Hivemanager) and the virtual appliances links will trigger a double download.

For instance, if I click a link for AP120's firmware my browser downloads two files:

AP110-120-6-1.0r2a.img.S
AP110-120-6.0r2a.img.S

I'm using mountain lion no matter what browser you use. I haven't tried it on Windows yet.

Hey Mike,

I borrow a colleague's laptop and I can see that the duplication of files only happens on OS X, so I guess that sounds like a bug.

And I correct with Firefox it triggers a double download. However, you have the option to cancel the second one.

Erick,
We have people looking into this. It appear to be a flaw in the tools we use, we are working with our vendor to get a fix ASAP.

Great!, in the meantime you can always cancel the second download, I asked because I thought that probably those downloads could be something like a "stable" and "test" firmware.
