Can you clarify this question?  Lync requires network access (for a local deployment of Lync) or internet access (for a hosted deployment) in both cases aerohive AP's can accommodate that as long as you have them configured appropriately.  Are you asking if there is a native integration with Microsoft lync programmed into the AP's or if the AP's can do appropriate QoS to support voice traffic or something else entirely?  To the first I have to defer to Aerohive.  To the second yes QoS is supported by the AP's.

Sorry, I meant can it detect and prioritise Lync calls, and also can it display call statistics, such as call quality, and number of calls per AP?  Are the APs Lync certified, and does Aerohive interface with the Lync servers via API to get additional information about calls going through each AP?

I know that you can definitely prioritize voice traffic with the built in QoS on the APs.  I'll have to defer to Aerohive on the other Lync questions.  Based on this table (which is probably grossly outdated) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/lync/gg131938.aspx it looks like Aruba and Cisco are Lync certified.  I wonder if that includes Meraki now.  We are looking at a possible Lync deployment in our organization as well so if Aerohive could get on that and become Lync certified (assuming they aren't already) that would be awesome!

Thanks, for the info I agree... it would be good.  Lync supporting can be a big differentiator for a lot of enterprises...
