Does disabling Inter-station Traffic in SSID affect the Bonjure (use AirPlay)

Experts,

I wonder if disabling  Inter-station Traffic will affect usage of AirPlay (Bonjure).

From what I see I have to do:
1) Disable the checkbox under Management Settings for "Inter-station traffic" and then   2) create a firewall filter for FROM-ACCESS, and deny the client the ability to get to anything in the wireless subnet. ie, if the wireless subnet is 10.10.10.0/24, then a simple deny from 10.10.10.0/24 to 10.10.10.0/24 should do the trick, both on a single AP, and across AP's.

I am trying to cut unnecessary traffic. thank you

Hi MST,

Specifically for Client Isolation, not really. It applies on a per-BSS basis. It does not isolate, as I think you are expecting, to the ESS as a whole.

Nick
