Does a client drop connectivity if the channel were to change on the AP to which they were connected?

I assume so but wanted to confirm before scheduling auto channel changes.

yes, but you can schedule channel changes for the wee hours of the morning if you like.

Thanks for the replies, I already had this scheduled after hours for the reason I figured I would hear. I just wanted to confirm that a client would, in fact, drop connectivity when the AP changes channels. Thought it was obvious but try not to completely rely on assumption. Thank you both for the replies.
