Do the AP330's only allow 2 x 100mbps for link aggregation?

Awesome news! I Love to see Aerohive staying competitive with other vendors starting to offer AC...and staying ahead of several other vendors who aren't offering it yet!

I read in another blog that the new AC AP's require 802.3at power when using the 80MHz channels, but they can be used with 802.3af if only using 20MHz or 40MHz channels.

Curious if the link aggregation will allow 2 x 1Gbps links. I think the AP330's only allow 2 x 100mbps for link aggregation.

Note: This topic was created from a reply on the We've launched our new 802.11ac Access points! topic.

Part of the AF power optimization on the new APs is the channel width so that's true. Link Agg on the new APs is 2x 1Gbps.

AP330 allows 2x 100Mbps link aggregation.

This does have an intelligent PoE detection technology that allows AP to put in Auto, 802.3af or 802.3at mode based on power source used and you can aggregate data with 2x 1GigE.

Hi Shail,

Can I safely say that so long I use 802.3at for AP330, I can aggregate data at gigabit connection rather than 10/100?

I believe that's for the AP370/390 only not the AP330/350.
