Is there a way to disconnect users who are connected to the AP?

active clients -> click on a specific client -> deauth client

this will only very briefly kick a client off, and they will reconnect. Banning specific clients is probably best done at a MAC filter level, though it's not foolproof. To kick everyone off a specific AP and to make sure they don't reconnect to that AP, you can adjust the AP's configuration to turn the radios off.

I don't believe that this is possible yet in HM-NG.

I have removed the Ap from the Configuration without turning it off and it knocks off the clients yet leaving it online to update.  Once the update is complete return it to the configuration list.

I tried doing that at MAC level but since the HM-NG is having issues for the last 2 weeks i'm unable to push the delta config to the AP's. I did read somewhere it is possible to direct phone users to a different SSID by creating a user profile with redirect and firewall policies but without doing a complete config push it wont be possible.
