I'm in New York, Lower Westchester to be exact. Should I enable DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection) channels? Does anyone else use them?

Hi Rob,

I'm familiar with Westchester County. I spent many of my summers growing up with my grandparents, and I still have family in White Plains. When I was growing up, one of my favorite places to go was the Intrepid museum.

DFS can be used to increase the number of channels, but not all client devices support the DFS channels because there are special DFS test procedures that you have to pass. It makes sense to use DFS when you and your neighbors have fully occupied all the available channels. If you open a support case, we can work real-time determining whether it would benefit you in your environment.
