As far as I know, it's beholden to when the FCC certify the AP230. As soon as that process concludes, it should appear in the next scheduled software release after.

This is an issue that all AP vendors face when coming to market with new APs due to the requirement to certify, which is completely mandatory from a regulatory perspective.

I am aware of the certification process required. I was just wondering if there had been any progress on an ETA.

Thanks for the quick response.

Don't quote me, but look for the AP230 to be certified for the DFS channels before the end of the year.   Gotta have the DFS channels if 80 MHz bonding is to be a reality

Will AP370 DFS support come before, after, or at the same time as the AP230?

Not sure...  I think the same time.

My understanding is that DFS is already supported for CE countries, so I assume this query is in regard to FCC DFS certification. As David has hinted, we have received FCC DFS certification for both AP230 and AP370/390. The next release of HiveOS for these platforms will include those certified wifi drivers.

It is available now. HiveManager and HiveOS 6.4r1 have been released.

I am not sure, however, when this version of HMOL will become available but I would expect it to be over the next week or so.
