CWP, Walled Garden and Facebook

Hi all,

Anyone know how to allow Facebook on a captive web portal through the walled garden so that users can visit Facebook without clicking the 'use acceptance policy' button, i.e. they can go to Facebook  but no where else until they accept the 'use acceptance policy'.  I have tried www.facebook.com, all sub domains of *.facebook.com, all IP address ranges that I can find i.e. 31.13.64.0/18 and no joy.  I can get the Facebook page up but the CSS looks like it is missing and the 'like' buttons are not visible.  Any advice or ideas most welcome !

Cheers,
Paul

Hello Paul,

I have found a solution for the facebook issue. I can get the facebook page up including the CSS with this walled garden:

I have to specify the last rule back to a smaller subnet.. but for now it is working

Hi Manoah,

Sorry I didn't see this reply, I will test it on my HMOL and see how it goes - fingers crossed as it will be awesome if we can integrate Facebook through the CWP.

Cheers and talk soon,
Paul
