This is a Feature request for a method to back up and restore configurations between HMOL accounts.

We are a reseller, and we find that a lot of our customers have very similar configuration requirements.

It would be nice if there was a the ability to restore the configuration settings from a Policy so that they could be restored to another HMOL account.

The Hive manager Operations / Back up Database and Restore Database features go a long way to delivering this functionality, but there are a few issues with this method.

Unfortunately the backup and restore carries forward more than just the configuration settings that have been applied to an account.

Issues are as follows:
1: Audit Logs are carried forward from the backed up HMOL to the new one.

2:The "QS-IP-Track-WAN-Router" IP tracking service reproduces itself every time the database is restored.

Hi Terence,
That is a great idea. We will consider this as an enhancement for a future release.
