Hi!

I'm trying to connect a WD Mybooklive directly to the Aerohive 141 via a LAN cable. But I can't find the WD hard drive on the network. How can I enable this?

Thx!

Hi Verjiris what do you have the port set to? backhaul, bridge-access? what VLAN is is the port set to and what VLAN should the hard drive be on?

Thanks,

Deven

Hi,

Still trying to figure out how to attach a NAS to the Aerohive AP141. Any ideas on how to do this?

Thx!

Verjiris,
Basically, you don't. The WD NAS is an ethernet-attached device, you attach it to your ethernet. The fact that the AP is also on the same ethernet should be irrelevant.

There's not a lot of detail in this thread, are you trying to build a network consisting of only the AP141 and this NAS? How will your AP141 get back to your management system (HiveManager on-premises or HiveManager OnLine)?
