Changing the HMOL primary account

I have an existing HMOL VHM, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to change the primary account login to a different email address for the log in.

I’m basically weighing up the option of starting with a fresh hive with the new APs, vs adding the full set of new APs to their existing HMOL VHM. Their existing VHM has 11 APs which will expire at the end of 2015, however I would like to use a different primary login username.

It might be cleaner just to create a new hive in the principals generic email, but then I don’t think I will be able to migrate any of their existing AP Keys should they wish to re use them.

Can an AP that is registered to another VHM be migrated to a different VHM. Guess what I’m asking is can the Entitlement Key be migrated from one VHM to another. (as the physical AP can only be migrated if there is an appropriate Entitlement Key to house it).

Hi Jason, I believe you do can do this at the myhive landing page; login to, and before you click on your VHM (I do that automatically it seems! :)) over on the left hand side, click on "admin account manager". I believe this is what you're looking for :)
