Hi guys,
I hope someone from this community would be able to suggest a fix on my current issues.

1. CAPWAP delay related "major" alarm are most often the content of my alarms page.
2. Some AP230's that we have need to be restarted first before i can successfully update my APs configuration, otherwise, it will always result to "abort/retry" regardless how many times i try to reapply the config update

Environment:
1. We are using 6.5r1
2. All the 13 devices are at the same location but some of them are encountering these problems, not all.
3. We are using ProCurve J9089A Switch 2610-48-PWR to power up the APs.
4. We are accessing the hive from our office in Philippines but I'm not sure where is the HA located.

What version of HiveOS are you using on the AP230s? Have you updated to 6.4r1d?

The CAPWAP delay alarms usually aren't something to worry about too much. It's logging that there's excessive latency between the APs and the HiveManager instance you're using.

Hi Nick,
Some are on HiveOS 6.4r1d.2111 and some are on HiveOS 6.4r1a.2103.
I am more annoyed rather than worried with the CAPWAP alarms, BTW. I prefer to see the alarms which are really important under Major or Critical.

Is there a way to just maybe, re-categorize this CAPWAP alarm as minor in hive manager?

As mentioned, CAPWAP alarms are not a worry about. If you wish to remove the alarms, they can be disabled from individual APs under Advances settings or from the Guided Configuration. (Additional Settings - Service Settings - Disable CAPWAP alarms.
