I have setup a NPS (server 2012 R2) for radius. I am trying to follow this documentation here - https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/s3_images/966765/filter-id.png?1380845703  because I want to filter IDs so I can assign users to user groups depending on their AD group. The guide says click on <Radius_settings> under the authentication column but I cannot find this. I have setup an external radius server in this column and no where in the settings for this are filter ID options. Nobody else seems to be having this issue so I have no idea why I cannot find what the guide is talking about. Can anyone help me?
Cheers

Ok, so I figured that part out. I thought it wanted me to do something in aerohive. But now I am confused at the next step, creating radius groups. I assume that you have to make the user profile name the same as the active directory group? If not where do you configure which AD groups are assigned to which user profile???

It has nothing to do with Active Directory at all, it is entirely unrelated and decoupled.

You reference a Local User Group name that you have defined with the Filter-Id string. The Local User Group must be of type 'RADIUS Users' and have a desired User Profile Attribute value.

That User Profile Attribute value (integer) references the actual user profile that you want applied to an association.
