After authenticating to our secured network I would like to force clients to use DHCP in order to get an address.

What you are asking for is an implementation of IP source guard and ARP filtering from DHCP snooping tables. HiveOS lacks these basic security features so it cannot be done today.

They are things that I sorely miss and, it's no secret, want to see in the future.

It is not possible to achieve parity with the security available in the wired world in the wireless world at the moment, that's disappointing.

Thanks for the reply. Not the answer I was hoping for but at least I know.

To be fair and equitable to Aerohive though, I am not aware of other wireless vendors that implement this correctly either...

It is an unfortunate status quo that none of the companies, prima facie, seem to want to address properly.
