BR200WP - CMOS Battery? Time resetting to EPOCH

We deployed many BR200WP devices with an internal NTP server setting. They have been functioning in the field for months and now we are seeing some start to lose the time setting after power loss which seems to indicate a dead battery. (This prevents VPN from establishing due to certificate time stamps not matching up)

Can anyone verify that these devices do actually have a CMOS battery? We will be moving our NTP settings to use a publicly available server however that does not explain why it has been working for over a year with internal NTP settings only accessible through the VPN.

They don't have a battery. NTP sync is performed after boot. You therefore need to ensure that this can complete without the tunnel being up.
