If you had a BR200-WP and turned the 5ghz radio on vs the 2.4, could you then drop a BR100 on top of it in AP only mode to provide 2.4 support?

Bradley,
Yes, that should work just fine. It won't exactly reproduce the experience you would get with a dual-radio AP such as our AP330, but will still give you coverage in both bands and could be configured via a single policy applied to both devices.

It would not be a good idea, normally in dual radio APs we filter between 2.4 and 5GHz to prevent inter-band interference, because the BR-200 is single radio that needs to switch between bands, we cannot put those filters in the BR-200 so the 2.4 radio in the BR-100 would actually interfere with the 5Ghz radio in the BR-200. However if you put the BR 100 just 2 m away from the BR-200 this interference most likely wouldn't occur.

Thanks guys! Great information. I forgot about no band-pass filters in my scenario ;)

See, this is why I love the BR line. There is a lot of interesting uses for them.
