Our bonjour gateway has been working flawlessly since school started.

This morning it stopped working.

I have verified that enabling Wi-Fi on the computer (putting devices on the same subnet) and AirPlay services work.

But AirPlay is not working across subnets anymore.

I didn't change the network policy.

Ideas?

A million ideas

I assume this is free BG

vlan probe
check that interfaces are up
show the BG status, assuming code is similar to AP code.

show interface command

should show entries in each vlan you allow

Bgd0.1, Bgd0.2 etc....
and should provide the following info
Name MAC addr Mode State Chan VLAN Radio Hive SSID

#show bonjour-gateway status
show give you the status of BG

show bonjour-gateway service local

show show you the services learned.

I would start at layer 1 work my way up while troubleshooting, especially if you have not made any changes

Not free — built into HiveManager.

This turned out to be a known bug in the current version of HM which causes the AP to stop looking for VLANs.

Rebooting the AP that is the designated Bonjour Gateway and then running a command line on it resolved the issue.

To be fixed in 6.1r3 apparently.

Is this disabling the keep-alives?

I found moving the BG AP to a quiet[low client location] helps as well.

Cheers

Yes, it was the keep-alives issue.

It was already on a quiet AP in the auditorium.
