How do you stop the Bonjour gateway from wanting to rename the devices every day or so as I am getting staff complaints that when I turn on the gateway their computers start wanting to rename them ie A computer with that name already exists.
Which is not correct, if I turn off the gateway it stops
Please help

Brad,
The gateway itself doesn't rename any of your hosts, it merely advertises the announcements it sees on one network onto other networks. It does not re-advertise announcements back onto the networks they were received from.

If you have a loop of some sort, when the devices are rebooted or wake from sleep they will see the name they want already being advertised, and then will rename themselves (usually by appending an incrementing number to the name, resulting in something like "Brads-Mac(4)").

Unfortunately, I'm not qualified to help you troubleshoot this further. Hopefully one of our excellent SEs or support personnel who hang out here will have ideas.
