Best process for changing HiveManager's IP address?

I'd like to move our HiveManager VM to a new subnet and IP address to better fit with some network changes we've made. I'm not sure of the safest way to do this, though. Our APs discover HM through DHCP by name, so that part is ready. What's unknown is how often the APs will re-query DNS after a change in order to pickup the new address.

If I change the HM IP, the APs will all lose their CAPWAP connections. When they go to re-establish a connection will they use a cached HM IP? Will they use a cached DNS entry? Or will they honor the DHCP option they have, query DNS, and receive the updated IP? We can easily deal with a few minutes of downtown while the work is being done, but we can't wait eight hours for a cached entry to expire...or 30 days for the DHCP lease to expire.
