Yes, you can, but there is nothing required of an AP to support this...

PAC scripts are just JavaScript files that configure a Web browser (technically a user agent) to use a particular proxy server. They are typically hosted on a Web (HTTP) server.

They have nothing what-so-ever to do with the Layer 2 / Layer 3 equipment in a network such as Aerohive's APs and switches.

(PAC scripts, used by WPAD, are generally considered these days to be a bad thing. Serious consideration should be given to removing them for security, reliability and compatibility reasons.

Proxy servers in general, where not used in a reverse proxy role for content hosting, are an anachronism and normally ineffectual for the typical high bandwidth consumers. They are all the more an anachronism where they are not transparent / inline via the default gateway requiring client configuration somehow.)
