If not, is this going to be made possible in the future?
You're absolutely right! Sorry I didn't look hard enough first before posting. It looks like setting the toggle to bind the PPSK to the first MAC that uses it makes the most sense for my needs, but I can't find the option to do that in HiveManager Express 6.1r6a.
Any help would be appreciated.
It might be the best step to go from 'Express' to 'Enterprise', since it will increase all your options for deployment (including this one). Is there a specific reason why you're using Express over Enterprise?
Using Enterprise mode is free and can be accessed from 'Home > Device management settings'.
Let me know if I can help you further,
Thank you! I never even know that the "Enterprise" option existed! Thanks for the help on accessing the setting and the instructions for enabling enterprise.
When I enable the "Automatically bind a private PSK to a MAC address" option and try to upload the configuration, it requires me to configure the Device Private PSK Server in the SSID profile in the network policy. When I try to do that, the only option for the Private PSK Server is BR_as_Private_PSK_Server. When I use that, it allows me to upload the config, but the MAC binding doesn't seem to work.
This setting requires an AP to be outfitted with a static IP address, once that is done it can be selected as the private PSK server. After that MAC binding will work. Important to note in this situation is that an AP which will fulfill added roles (DHCP, RADIUS, PPSK Server, VPN server) will always need a static address.
Does this help?
