APs cannot bind users with dash to group

we are experiencing the following Issue on HiveManager NG OnPrem Version:

When creating users with a dash meaning:

and assigning these to a usergroup, the HiveManager shows no error, after a configuration update (either one, delta or complete), the HiveManager shows "Device Update Failed" error.

When trying to push the configuration to AP the CLI cannot assign the users to the usergroups.

After trying to assign a user to a group via CLI on one of the APs we receive the following error:
AP064#user User-Name group <Usergroup>
ERROR: can't bind user User-Name to group <Usergroup>, please check the password format or length.
ERROR: Invalid parameter(s)

When creating a user without a Dash everything is working as planned without errors.

Is it possible to disable the creation of users with special characters that are not supported in the username? Or is this a bug? I did not try to assign users with special characters like a dash in the users name with quotationmarks....

The AP is running HiveOS 8.0r1 build-161337

Is this a known issue in this build? I've tried the same with a HiveOS 8.0r1 Kathmandu build-159247 and there are no issues assigning a user with a special character to a usergroup.
