AP370 & AP390 end of sale 10/5/16 (already?)

FYI, not sure why this was not noted here or on official blog yet, not a very long product life for the AP370 & AP390, both listed as end of sale 10/5/16.

I see Aerohive suggests migration to AP250 or AP245X, how about an Aerohive buy-back program for current users of AP370 & AP390?

Just because they are end of sale doesn't mean they are end of life. Their end of life is October 05, 2021. And they've been around for around 3 or so years already. So that seems like a pretty long product life.
And if you consider that this is Aerohive's first ac product, it has always had feature parity issues compared to other Aerohive APs, and Aerohive wants users to start using their newer wave 2 ac products, it only makes sense that they are pushing users away from these and end of sale'ing them.

The current golden, long term support branch of HiveOS, 6.5, brought feature parity with the other APs running that code level. As Bill said, they are End-Of-Sale but not End-Of-Life.

There will be 5 years of support for these APs, as per the EOL policy. That is in 2021. See:

That policy is MUCH more generous than other vendors in the Enterprise space currently offer, FWIW.
