AP250 - Client DHCP Issues

Hello
We are running HiveManager 6.8r3
AP250s running 7.0r2

We appear to be having issues with DHCP requests from some clients, not all!

I have checked the VLAN probe to make sure all VLANs can be seen on all APs and they can.
All clients get authenticated but only some get assigned an IP address.

I have detailed a client monitor for 1 client that didn't get an IP, albeit it looks as though they got 192.168.0.107, but then the client continues to send DHCP requests.

Is anyone aware of any issues with DHCP and this firmware?

Thanks for any help.

Paul.

Hi Paul

Could you try to enable the following on the AP250's 'alg sip enable'.  I am currently looking at a similar issue with an AP250 deployment and this has helped in that instance.  Please let me know if this helps.

Hi Chris,

I was away on Friday, but have just checked HiveManager and it looks as though all clients have an IP address, happy days!

I'm getting the site to check with clients that they knew were having difficulties before, will let you know the outcome.

thanks.

Paul.

After you run this command on the cli, did you take any other actions? Did you restart the AP's? or push an update? I too am having this issue and want to try out this solution.

Cheers,
Joey

Once you apply in CLI then it is active.

The only thing with applying in CLI is that you will get a configuration audit alert in HiveManager. You could apply in HiveManager and then push configuration to an AP to test.
