We have deployed several AP170 access points and always found them to be "touchy" in comparison to their AP121 and AP330 cousins.  For example, you could make a small change to the config and the AP121 and AP330 access points would make the change without a reboot but the AP170 nearly always required a reboot.  As we had deployed the AP170 access points in production facilities a reboot requires change approval.

Since the AP170 access points have been upgraded to 6.1r6 we have been able to make small changes without needing to reboot the access point and this is great.  Needing continual change approval for every small change was a hassle so it was well worth upgrading.
