1 out of the 4 AP330 models in a location does not appear in the HMOL portal. The led on the AP remains green. The AP has been factory reset multiple times. The other 3 APs appear as normal. We have interchanged switch ports with the working APand offending AP to confirm the port is allowing capwap traffic out. The working AP operates normally on the port used by the offending AP.
The DHCP issued IP is seen on the switch port (in the same subnet as other APs), and the AP is able to be pinged by other APs.
Yet the AP does not show up in HMOL.
The sn has been input to HMOL as normal, along with auto provisioning. There is a sufficient 300 series licence since the same model of AP was already deployed in this location. We are putting back a different AP that is the same model.

The AP was previously in a HMOP hive and was removed from the portal inventory of this hive. I thought this would be OK to swap an AP of same model, as we have done successfully moving an AP330 from HMOL to HMOP hive without any problem.
Are there issues with moving in the other direction?

Any ideas where to investigate next.
Thanks

Do you have the credentials to SSH into it with the known IP that you see via arp in the switch?  If so, get into the CLI and paste the output of a "show capwap client" here for us to see what it is doing.

It turned out that when we connected the AP to a home router internet source, it remained green, but then the following night it was connected to another person's home router and it came online in the normal way. so no intervention was necessary.
Have you heard of this occurring.
