These days there is a lot of talk about security in wireless. Their is 1 supplier who is actively working on this. Are there any security features coming like de-assoc, wips and rf jamming from other suppliers?
RF Jamming could get you in hot water. The other methods are pretty much standard fare. WIPS has been around for about 8 or 9 years. Now most WLANs have some sort of WIPS built into them. Wi-Fi networks are largely understanding and using better security. There are a few places where an overlay WIPS is desirable still. If you are using stronger authentication, unwelcome clients are not a problem. You should focus on finding the unauthorized APs the sneak onto your LAN. Most of them are placed by your own people. This is where an ACL on you switches really helps.
