Annual Reports for Unique Clients by Location

I’m trying to figure out how to build a report for the total unique clients on all our 45+ WAPs. I’ve spent weeks digging through the documentation and can create some amazingly detailed reports on bandwidth, use, etc. However I’m trying to figure out how to get total unique clients for 2013. I figured out how to generate a Unique Client report using the “old” report. However I have to do this for each WAP individually, then export the report as a CSV and add up the numbers for each period. (The largest period I can create is two weeks.) Also, when I do this data is only generated for the last 35 days and not the entire 2 month maximum period indicated in the report date selection. Any guidance would be appreciated. I’ve been struggling with this since we installed 18 months ago and have tried to contact support using our HMOL, however the SMTP settings aren’t setup on our installation and contacting support through HMOL does not work. Please help.

Try this:

Create a new dashboard perspective or a new-style report and add the "Unique Wi-Fi clients by location" widget. Then use a custom time period.

Unfortunately, I believe you can only go back 12 months with this widget, so you could only get data from mid-february to the end of december.

If it provides the info you want, remember to schedule a report to run at the end of the year and get emailed to you.
