Hello,

I have the following error message on HiveManager NG 11.26.3.5 after a fresh install :
« an unknown error has occured ».
Hivemanager seems to be working fine except the dashboard : application monitoring is not working.
TOP APPLICATION GROUPS for example always shows the message "This data is only tracked for WiFi clients connected to supported wireless access points running HiveOS."

It also happens also on older versions of HMNG. Tried to reinstall, same issue.
We have 40 AP130 on HiveOS 6.5r8b build-179369.

Do you have a clue of what happens and what we can do?

dashboard problem fixed : it was a DNS issue (AP didnt received DNS server from DHCP, had to force DNS value in hivemanager NG properties, or manually on AP) but I still have "An unknown error has occurred."
I did a fresh install from 11.26.3.5 ova. I had an error while deploying it on vsphere 6.5, had to do the following :

1) Rename the .ova file to have a filename extension of .7z

2) Extract this via 7Zip to a directory.

3) Delete hivemanager-ng-signed.mf and hivemanager-ng-signed.cert to remove the signature. This is necessary as not doing this prevents modification of the OVF file.

4) Edit the hivemanager-ng-signed-11.26.ovf to remove the following lines:

<Vendor>Aerohive Networks, Inc.</Vendor>

<Version>11.26</Version>

<VendorUrl>Aerohive Networks, Inc.</VendorUrl>

 5) Deploy via the remaining files, the VMDK and OVF, in vSphere.

deployment worked fine, but even after a fresh install, I still have "An unknown error has occurred."

anyone experiencing this?

after a reinstall of vcenter in version 6.0 and not 6.5, no more problems.
