Aerohive APs and Integration with JAMF MDM

We have a 3rd party network service provider who insists that we cannot integrate our 1:1 iPad BYOD program with MDM JAMF into our Aerohive APs because "It had been decided early on that MDM enrollment would not work here as Automating MDM enrollment through Aerohive would put every device on the same JSS profile since the only thing that Aerohive automates in this sense is the URL redirect and placement of the username and password. If everyone has the same username and password we cannot differentiate class groups to determine which students gets which applications in the self service application." Is this accurate?

Hiya, no it is not. We do not automate credentials at all actually. We check each host as it associates to the SSID to see if it is currently enrolled with Casper. If no, it is redirected to the enrollment page where you can enter any credentials you want. Same goes for the periodic check against JSS to see if the device continues to be enrolled. If the profile is uninstalled, the device is redirected to the enrollment page where the user can enter credentials to re-acquire the profile.
