Aerohive 390 with dual ethernet ports. I want to connect two networks, 1 on each port. So....eth0 = 172.x.x.x and eth1 10.x.x.x with a ssid for each of the separate networks.
Will this work?

Hi Rick, can I ask why you would want to do this? If you wish to direct clients onto separate VLANs, configure separate user profiles one for the 172.x.x.x and one for 10.x.x.x.

Luke, Thanks for the info. I am new to Aerohive and, well to be honest, have not read any documentation.I tried to setup the AP 390 with the idea that each Ethernet port could connect to a different network and I could assign a SSID to each. One public and one private.

Obviously I need to read the documentation. Can you provide any links that would help an old man out?

Aerohive has some great training modules that takes you through many different configuration options and how to use them. You may want to look into going through the training.
