Dear All,

I Have a Problem with the Active Directory Integration in the Hive Manager. The Problem is that I can't get a connection between a Client and the Access Point. The Access Point is configured as a Radius Server with External Database (Active Directory). And the AD/LDAP tests work fine. But when i test the Radius function it shows the message:The RADIUS server rejected the Access Request message. Check the shared sceret in configuration. What does it mean?

Hello Daniel,

Commonly this means one of two things; either (1) the Shared Secret of the HiveAP to which your are authenticating does not match the Shared Secret configured in the NAS list of your HiveAP RADIUS server or (2) there is no entry in the NAS list for said HiveAP.

1) Check to make sure the the Shared Secret on your AAA Client matches the Shared Secret on your HiveAP RADIUS server NAS list.

2) Make sure that the HiveAPs to which your clients are authenticating are in the NAS list on your HiveAP RADIUS server, either by individual IP address or network.
