Access Points showing white but not appearing in the manager

Hi all,

Slightly frustrating, but if anyone could help me that would be grand!

My company has purchased x2 AP121 and x1 AP230

Both these devices' light will go white, but will not appear at all in the web interface under 'all devices' When we got a trial AP I set it up with relative ease, in under an hour, and it was well received. 

Any words of wisdom?

Sam,
It's possible your reseller or Aerohive order fullfilment did not enter the serial numbers for your new APs into the Redirector, so they are successfully connecting to it and turning their LEDs white, but aren't connecting to your VHM. Within HiveManager from the Monitor, All Devices page you can use the Device Inventory button to add their serial numbers and they should connect to your VHM.

Another thing to watch is that your view allows for all devices, i.e., if the view is set to 15 and you have 17 devices, the last two will be on the next page.

If you are using HMOL then SSH or serial into the access point and run the command show capwap client.  This will show you the server and VHM that the access point is currently connected to.
