"Finding" APs

I tell an AP light yellow and flash, it does. I return AP to normal operation. That works. I try to light up ANY other AP in the Hive and the same/original/first AP turns yellow again and flashes. (Not the newly selected AP)
What's up with that?

Did you by chance leave the original AP checked? What version of HiveManager are you using? I just tried to reproduce your complaint on both HMOL v6.1r5 and on unreleased 6.1r6, and cannot reproduce it.

You're doing this from the Monitor Devices page, using "Locate Device" under the Utilities menu?

Using v6.1r5 - Fresh upgrade.  I encountered this at a remote site, then duplicated the problem here at Starfleet command on our APs. (Running in the same HMOL) Yes, locate device on utilities menu.

Did not leave things checked, I restored to normal, verified it worked visually, then selected another.

Jim,
I asked a few other people to try this on their HMOL 6.1r5 environments last night, and they've all reported they do not see the behavior you are describing. I think you'll need to engage our support organization to troubleshoot further and find the root cause of the behavior you are seeing.

Please let us know the outcome; I am curious to learn why you get different behavior than the rest of us.
